jason brody is paid for by vacation with the use of a cluster of friends throughout the tropical island within the pacific when they actually decide taking a skydiving trip. but nonetheless they all land in numerous elements the most pirate-infested island, and are taken prisoner by a pirate lord named vaas. vaas plans to actually extort ransom cash from their oldsters, then sell them into slavery. along with the help of his older brother grant, jason breaks out of every captivity, other then grant is killed within the escape. jason is rescued by a man named dennis, who will be a part of the rakyat, the island natives who suffer beneath the boot of one's pirates. the leader of one's rakyat, a priestess named citra, initiates jason into their tribe and he's given warrior tattoos. he runs a series of missions where he rescues his captive friends one by one whereas simultaneously serving to the rakyat retake their island, helped from time to time by dr. earnhardt, a man who will be a proficient on fungi and varied native remedies and medication. through the entire journey, jason matures towards a fearsome warrior and is revered from the rakyat, though his previous friends are disturbed by his transformation towards a killer, any time he contemplates staying upon the island permanently.
